The Inclusive Scouting Badge

The Inclusive Scouting badge is the first badge our scouts earn, and one of the few badges worn by scouts of all ages, from Chipmunks to Rovers.

Symbolism

The Inclusive Scouting badge features a silver arrow against a rainbow background of black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, sky blue, royal blue, and purple.

Earning the Award

We earn the Inclusive Scouting badge by wearing it! It stands out on our uniform as a declaration of our values, our commitment to creating an environment where all are welcome, and everyone can scout with us.

A scout may choose to add the 20th Anniversary Award above their Inclusive Scouting rather than remove and re-sew both. In that case, they should place the badges side-by-side on their next uniform shirt, whether it’s because they move to the next size up or when they swim/leap to a new Section.

In any case, the 20th Anniversary Award is yours to wear as long as you remain a scout, for participating in the Outdoor Service Guide’s 20th Anniversary year!
